Basics and Familiarization

Are you having trouble deciding on a new handgun purchase?

Do you know the Federal and State requirements for purchase?

Have you ever fired a gun before?

No? -- Then this is the course for you!

Yes? -- Would you like to learn more??

Unlike other basic pistol courses, DEguns’ Handgun 101 class provides everything – guns, ammo, eye and ear protection, targets, range time.

Let the staff of DEguns teach you the difference between double action and single action, revolver vs. semi-auto, full size vs. carry pistol. Safe storage strategies. Holster selection. An accessory selection like aftermarket triggers, sights, grips, and custom work.

Lots of hands-on classroom work followed by range time on one of DEguns’ private training ranges.

11 AM - 2 PM

 

Requirements:

 

All students and observers must sign a range liability waiver.

Minimum age to attend the class is 12 years old but must have a parent/legal guardian in the class with them.

The parent/legal guardian must be at least 19 years of age.

 

***Please keep in mind we have to have a minimum of 5 students in the class - if we do not you will receive a call at least 1 week in advance informing you there might be a reschedule.***
