Smith & Wesson
What is S&W known for? Since 1852 we’ve been an industry leading manufacturer of pistols, revolvers, rifles, and shooting accessories. We continue to bring innovative firearms to market that meet the needs of every shooter and deliver on exceptional quality with a brand you’ve learned to trust. What is M&P Smith and Wesson? M&P stands for Military and Police. All Smith and Wesson handguns and rifles have M&P models which denote the special features built into each firearm. Where is Smith and Wesson made? All firearms are manufactured by S&W in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1852, Horace Smith & D.B. Wesson form a partnership to manufacture a firearm that can fire a fully self-contained cartridge. Since then, Smith & Wesson has released many industry-changing firearms and ammunition. In 1990, S&W came out with the .40 S&W for their Model 4006 Pistol. The .40 SW is now one of the most popular cartridges in the world for civilian, military and law enforcement use. In 2003, Smith and Wesson released the famous .500 S&W Magnum, a powerful revolver that cemented the company legacy as an innovator in gun manufacturing. Shortly after, the M&P line of handguns and rifles were released and continued to be manufactured today. The M&P M2.0 family is the result of ten years of research and design. Improvements have been made to various parts such as the trigger, grip, frame, and finish. You can find Smith & Wesson's entire firearm inventory on our website. Browse the products above to find the SW model you need. DEGuns also offers S&W gunsmithing services. The same master gunsmiths responsible for the quality and performance of our DEGuns SuperCenter will apply their expertise to the upgrading, enhancing and refurbishing your new or existing revolvers and pistols.
